Dearest Birthmother,
Other than being a true Godsend, you are also a very special person. Someone who can put their own selfishness aside to choose the best path for their unborn child is truly a remarkable human being. God bless you for being a very special angel. We know you have a very difficult decision to make, but we pray that God will guide you through the rough journey you have ahead of you, to make the best possible outcome for you and your unborn child.
My husband and I were blessed once before. A truly special angel chose us to raise her son as our own, two and half years ago. Our son will be three in August and he too is very welcoming of a baby brother or sister. He has been very active in decorating the nursery and helping to choose toys and books for the shelves. From time to time he asks where his brother or sister is. “We tell him that God hasn’t chosen our special baby yet, and He is working on it.” He accepts this answer and goes on about his own business.
So let us tell you a bit about ourselves. We married New Year’s Day back in 1996, and have been very close to each other. We started our own company 8 years ago, which has been very good to us. It allows me to be a stay-at-home mom and allows my husband to make his own schedule; so he never misses important family dates or appointments.
We have a lot of fun together; we are still kids at heart. Our hobbies, likes and dislikes are pretty much mirrored. We love our four seasons. Winter brings us the joy of the holiday season with family traditions; some we were raised with and others we have created throughout the years. We love to play in the snow and thaw out by our fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate, and my husband’s personal favorite activity - roasting marshmallows. The warmer months are spent gardening, camping, fishing, bike riding, flying kites, going to the beaches and amusement parks, and swimming in our pool. We love nature and animals.
We are anxiously looking forward to bringing another bundle of joy into our lives. We truly believe in family and believe that raising children is a wonderful gift from God. Somebody once told us that raising a child is a difficult and trying job. We believe it is fulfilling and wonderful. We believe a child needs to learn empathy very young in life. We always try to put ourselves in other people’s shoes, and listen to our hearts because we believe that the little voice we hear is God=s way of guiding us.
