Dear Birthmother,
What a wonderful person you are to choose adoption for your beautiful baby. Few people are ever given the privilege to cross paths with someone as selfless as you are. If you grant us the honor of parenting your child, you will be placing him or her into the arms of two people that will spend the rest of their lives proving their worthiness. Hello, we are Mark and Michelle. We have been together for 11 years and married for almost 6. We have always wanted children but regrettably, have been unable to conceive a child of our own. We are so appreciative of women like you who are willing to place their beloved children into loving homes and would welcome your baby with open arms.
About Mark: He is intelligent, caring, compassionate and funny. He is an emergency room Physician Assistant and takes care of most of the children in the emergency room. Mark is an excellent teacher and adores children. He loves to joke around and tells great stories.
About Michelle: She is very patient, determined, kind, happy and talented. She cares deeply for people and animals. Michelle is very selfless and has spent a lot of her time volunteering and helping others. She is both a registered nurse and attorney but is looking forward to the days when she can focus on our baby.
About our faith: Mark and I grew up in the church. I started going to Sunday school and church with my parents as soon as I was born. I was raised a Lutheran and we faithfully attended Sunday school and church at least every week. I was confirmed, sang in the church choir and acted in church plays. I attended a Lutheran church until our pastor left and then attended a Presbyterian church with my parents. We attended this church until I moved out of state, at which time I joined a large Baptist church. After going back to college again, both Mark and I joined a Methodist church. We have attended Bible study and I have completed a discipleship study. We have many friends in the church and want to assure you that your child will grow up knowing the Lord, morals, and love of Jesus Christ.
About our home: We live in a 3,500 square foot historical waterfront home with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 9-25 foot ceilings with 5 skylights, a couple of fireplaces, many decks, a beautiful view of the water from enormous windows on every floor, a nice fenced-in yard, and our own boat dock harboring our new cabin cruiser. Your child will have a wonderful home, great schools and a safe neighborhood in which to grow, learn and play.
Our favorite Bible verse is I Corinthians 13. We shall raise your child with love and shall teach your child to act with love as the following Bible verse provides: Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way: it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. And now faith, hope, and love abide, and the greatest of these is love.
Our faith is important to us. We will raise our child to know the joy of God’s love, and how to communicate with Him. We feel very blessed and grateful for all that we have, but we are longing to have a wonderful little baby to share it all with. We believe that God is in the business of turning sad and painful situations into something beautiful: this is the miracle of adoption. If the life that we have described is what you want for your child, then you may be the special lady that will help to make this dream come true.
We wish you peace, hope, and love………Michelle and Mark
