Dear Birthmother,

 

Thank you for taking the time to read about us, Pegeen and Bob. Your courage, love and compassion are truly amazing to us as you make this decision of adoption. We are grateful to God for women like you.

 

We met each other at a family and friends barbeque 13 years ago. We started to date and realized how much we had in common, each wanting a large family among other things. We were married after three years and started a family right away. We had a son, who is now nine years old. We were never able to have any more children. Another child would be such a wonderful blessing.

 

Our faith is a part of our everyday lives. We pray daily and our prayers are simple. We thank God for our son and our beautiful home and community, in which to raise him. We pray for the safety of Bob as he is a Captain on the city’s fire department. We pray for family and friends. We always include a prayer for the possibility of loving another child.

 

We are both very involved in our parish. Pegeen is an officer on the Mother’s Guild. She just coordinated a “Day with St. Nick” for the children of the parish; the theme was to bring Christ back into Christmas. Bob is running a spaghetti dinner in a few months. It is a fundraiser for the church, to help with some of the expenses.

 

Our home is in a nice community full of children. We live in a four bedroom Colonial house with a large fenced yard. We are one block away from church and school, and there are two parks, ball fields, and a beach close by.

We are a happy family. We are very involved parents who love children. We will offer your child a stable and loving environment in a nurturing home. We hope we are the type of family you are looking for.
