Dear Birthmom:

 

Hi, we are Rosa, Miguel and Ryan. We want to tell you about ourselves in the hopes you will select us to be the adoptive parents and family to your child. Miguel and I have already been blessed by God with the opportunity to be parents through adoption and we hope and pray that we will be granted this same opportunity again with your baby.

 

Miguel and I are a young couple who have known each other for 16 years. We met each other through mutual friends. We started off as close friends and ended up in a marriage based on trust, unconditional love, and a true respect for each other. We have been married for 10˝ years. We always knew we wanted to be parents. We have a very strong bond and are eager to share all our love with children of our own. Our difficulty with infertility has only made us stronger. We were both raised Catholic and it is our goal to provide our children with a strong sense of faith as well.

 

We were blessed with an incredible gift in May 2001 when we adopted our son, Ryan. Being parents to Ryan has been the greatest experience of our lives. We love our child more and more each day and find it amazing to watch him grow from a tiny baby to a little person who walks, talks and uses his imagination. We are truly grateful for Ryan’s birthparents who loved him enough to give him the gift of a loving family ready and able to provide for him. He will always know what special people they are and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.

 

Miguel is the most patient, sensitive and kind person I know, which I feel gives him all the qualities to make him a wonderful father. Children seem to gravitate to his fun and loving way.  Miguel dedicates himself to his family and his work, which is why he is so successful at everything he does. In his free time, his hobbies are golfing, mountain biking, and just hanging out with our family and friends. Miguel works as an Electrician.

 

Rosa will be such a loving mom, her energy sparkles with enthusiasm. From the moment you meet her, you feel like you’ve known her forever as she looks at you with a twinkle in those big green eyes and a smile that comes from deep in her heart. There is never a dull moment with Rosa, she is passionate about life, her family, and they all keep her busy - but never too busy to tackle the next personal challenge. It is the combination of her fearless and playful attitude, a tender and truly caring heart, and a desire to grow, learn and experience life that makes Rosa such a special person.  Rosa works part time at a local hospital.

 

We live in a safe, kid-friendly neighborhood with lots of kids. We enjoy living a relaxed kind of life, where spending time together as a family and having fun are top priorities. Going to the beach, exploring the nearby zoo and aquariums, going on picnics, and playing at the nearby parks are what we cherish the most.

 

We will support your child, as we do Ryan, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. We will provide much love and guidance to help your child become an honest and good natured person with a strong sense of self-esteem. We plan to be very open with our children regarding all issues having to do with adoption. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this decision making process - Miguel, Rosa and Ryan
